Are you an international student arriving in Belfast this September? To help us care for you, local churches and the Christian Union at Queens University have partnered with us to offer you the following events:
Our volunteers will be waiting to welcome you at Elms village. We will have a stall just outside Treehouse all day on Monday 12 & Tuesday 13 September. Our volunteers are happy to answer questions, help you sign up for our free minibus shopping trips and tell you about the rest of our events.
Would you like to visit a large out of town supermarket to buy your essential supplies? We have four minibuses and helpful volunteers ready to help you. To reserve your space on a minibus please sign up at our iWelcome desk at Elms village (outside Treehouse). Spaces are limited.
19 -21 September 2016
For three nights during welcome week we organise an International Student Cafe called iWelcome Cafe. From 7:30pm each day there is a free special event to introduce you to local culture. It’s a great way to make new friends, both local & international.
Here is a taste of the programme:
Monday 19 September – Irish Night
Tuesday 20 September – Games Night
Wednesday 21 September – Pudding Party
Venue: Victoria Halls, attached to the Crescent Church (junction of University Road and Lower Crescent).
